Our President

Mr. H. David Dunn began his career in construction in the 1960’s with Brock & Blevins of Chattanooga, TN. He started out as a fabrication shop employee, construction worker, and draftsman.  In 1967 he accepted employment with Atlas Chemical Co. at the Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant in Chattanooga. As a draftsman there he was responsible for the layout of TNT continuous production lines.  From 1969 to 1973 Mr. Dunn was the trucking manager for Central Soya of Chattanooga. 

In 1973 Mr. Dunn rejoined Brock & Blevins as an assistant superintendent. During his tenure at Brock & Blevins he quickly worked through supervision and became a project manager. By 1988 he had worked his way up the corporate ranks and become the president of Brock & Blevins.

 In 1991 Mr. Dunn decided to leave Brock & Blevins in pursuit of owning his own company. In the fall of that year he moved to Tuscaloosa, AL and founded M &D Power Constructors, Inc.

Mr. Dunn and his wife, Daniela Dunn, currently reside in Tuscaloosa, AL. He continues to remain heavily involved in the daily operations of the company.

Mr. Dunn has served on the Power House Maintenance Committee for over 20 years, as well as being active in negotiations with various Unions for over thirty years.
